How is CityIR different from other chiropractic and physical therapy offices?

At CityIR, we provide the highest-quality hands-on physical rehabilitation. Our scheduling allows 30-45 minutes of high-quality one-on-one treatment. We effectively use our time to treat our patient’s conditions while also educating them on what is causing their pain. What Should I bring to my Initial Appointment?

Please bring loose-fitting athletic attire that allows for movement and easy access to the region of complaint. Our assessment and treatment includes movement, so clothing that allows movement is the best attire to wear for appointments. We have multiple areas to change your clothing at the office and are happy to provide hangers and safe storage areas for your belongings.

Please bring image studies and radiology reports if you have them available. We will refer you for any additional imaging if needed. Please fill out your paperwork online through onPatient prior to your visit.

What Should I Expect During My Initial Visit?

Your first appointment will include a 45-60 minute comprehensive physical examination. Our doctors uses this information to identify the cause of your problem and begin working on a treatment plan that fits your condition. If time remains after the assessment (this is often the case), we will begin treatment.

How Long do I Need to be Treated?

Each visit is 30-45 minutes and the length of the treatment plan (the number of visits) varies by condition.

Every person and condition have different recovery timelines but our goal is to get you back to doing the things that you love to do as quickly as possible. Various factors come into play, such as overall health, activity level, and history of the injury. Our goal is to get our patients back to their normal activities healthier, stronger, and more educated than ever. We use our experience and patient progress to determine the most responsible time to return to those activities.

I am interested in House Calls, how does it work?

House call appointments are extended appointments that take place in the privacy of your home, office, or at any venue where you need us. We bring all of the necessary equipment and provide the highest level of care.

In case of aging and elderly patients, we also integrate with the healthcare network to coordinate and manage treatment in the short and long term.

Do You Take Insurance?

Yes. We accept out-of-network coverage from most commercial insurance carriers. We will verify your insurance benefits and let you know the details of your coverage before your first appointment. If your insurance plan does not cover out-of-network services, we offer competitive self-pay rates and packages.

Why Should I Pay Cash or Use Out-of-Network Benefits?

The benefit of working in the cash fee schedule with an out-of-network provider is that the quality of service and time spent with a doctor is much higher than that of in-network practices.

In-network providers have limited ability to spend quality time with their patients. These “mill” style practices can have multiple patients at once working with one doctor. We believe that this is unacceptable.

All of our treatments are 30-45 minutes of one-on-one, hands-on therapy. This ensures higher quality care, faster results, and better long-term outcomes. For more information about why we prefer this method of reimbursement, check out this post.

CityIR also offers Free Discovery Sessions, either by phone or in person, to help us determine if we can help your complaint. If we are unable to assist, we will direct you to our network of practitioners.

Can I Use an HSA or FSA to Pay for Care?

Yes, you may use HSA or FSA to pay for care, deductibles, and co-insurance.
