POSTURE:
Posture is the position that we hold our bodies while we are standing, sitting, or lying down. To have good posture, the entire body’s systems of joints, muscles, fascia, ligaments, and tendons must be working efficiently and correctly. With so much demand today built around computer work, sitting, or texting, we find it hard to reestablish good posture. Most of us might not even know what good posture feels like anymore. Good posture allows us to move, breathe, and feel better. Poor posture is a leading cause of musculoskeletal injuries and should be addressed whether you are symptomatic or not.
